Single Split Systems

split systemsThe Split System Air Conditioner is one of the most versatile, clean, quiet and economical forms of air conditioning available. The indoor unit can be situated on the wall, floor or attached to the ceiling with refrigerant pipework and electrical wiring connecting to the outdoor unit. The great idea of split systems is they are whisper quiet, extremely efficient and simple to operate.Split Systems are available in three configurations: Inverter model, Non-inverter model and Inverter Multi Split Systems.Today, split systems are available in Cooling Only and Reverse Cycle models (providing cooling in summer and heating in winter) and incorporate a host of innovative features. They also come in very elegant and unobtrusive designs, with appearances that blend with the modern dècor. Many provide fresh and cleaner air through the use of quality air filtration systems which trap microscopic particles, decomposes odours and deactivates bacteria and viruses.

Inverter Technology

Conventional air conditioners operate at a set speed, delivering a fixed amount of cooling and heating. While trying to maintain a set temperature they operate on the 'stop and start' principle. An inverter is a much more advanced technology that operates differently. Inverter type split systems gently increase or decrease in power. Once the desired temperature is reached, the system is able to maintain the temperature without outrageous fluctuations. That means uninterrupted comfort and significant power savings.

Split Systems have a host of features to provide for your comfort, including:
